Building a Better World Together
Sustainability and social responsibility are at the heart of everything we do. We are contributing to building a better world by keeping environmental sustainability and customer wellbeing in mind with every step we take.
Quality is at the heart of sustainability. We want to avoid the overconsumption of cheaply-made, shoddy clothing by offering high-quality products designed to last. Our underwear products meet strict quality requirements and hold up even after repeated use and extensive washing. We apply stringent quality assurance processes to ensure the highest standards are maintained, i.e. quality requirements on suppliers and multiple quality testing during the product development phase.
All raw materials used in Rita Underwear are sourced from carefully selected suppliers in Europe. All of our fabrics are made from Oeko-Tex certified yarns. Organic cotton fabrics are produced from GOTS-certified organic cotton yarns. We aim for full transparency in the supply chain. We monitor every step of the journey to ensure the safety of our products, customers and employees.
We produce in-house in order to minimise our impact on the environment. Through this, we are able to reduce shipping miles which, in turn, minimises air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions. We are constantly bringing new sustainability initiatives to life; one example being our in-house recycling systems. We are also aiming to reduce the climate impact from shipping finished garments.
We want to inspire local and international businesses to follow our example. We encourage environmental awareness amongst our employees, partners and subcontractors. We strictly condemn child labour and any form of harm to any living thing.
